Matrix/Router

Here at ETL Systems, we are pleased to supply the fantastic L-band Switch Matrix and L-band Router ranges designed specifically for satellite communications.

The range features the NiGMa L-band Matrix, which is widely used for high performance applications, and L-band Routers which are widely used in cruise ships, broadcast relay stations and for other small broadcast functions. The NiGMa range is fully hot-swap with hot-swap of all active components.

The range is also available as a distributive fan-out matric for Receive Chains or as a combining fan-in matrix for Transmit Chains.

Splitter/Divider

We are also pleased to supply the L-band Splitter and L-band Divider. These units are available in a range of formats to suit specific customer requirements. They may be supplied as 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32 way splitters – active splitters and passive splitters are available.

Most units in the L-band Splitters range feature LNB powering and a selection of units in the L-band Dividers range feature 10 MHz and DC pass on one port instead, for LNB powering.

Within the splitter/ divider range, we also offer top quality dual redundant amplifiers and amplifier current monitoring equipment that has been expertly designed and manufactured to suit mission critical applications.

Various IF splitters are also available.
 

Combiner

We offer a wide selection of high quality combiners featuring L-band, IF, broadband and C-band frequencies. Active or passive units are available and in a range of sizes to suit different customer/ application requirements. Sizes include: 4-way (1 input x 4 outputs), 8-way (1 input x 8 outputs), 16-way (1 input x 16 outputs) and more.

Our combiners are supplied in a 19inch wide shelf and feature dual redundant power supplies as standard. Customers may also choose from a range of options including: LNB powering, dual redundant amplifiers, 10 MHz and DC Pass.

Switch

We also offer an excellent range of redundant and non-redundant switches. The range has been created to suit various applications covering L-band, IF, broadband and SHF frequencies. Our RF switches may be in solid state form or relay based depending on customer requirements and can be locally and/or remotely controlled. Most units feature alarm outputs.

All switches are supplied in a 19inch wide shelf and feature single or dual power supplies.

Amplifier

At ETL Systems, we supply a wide selection of top quality amplifiers which largely cover IF and L-band. Fixed gain, variable gain amplifiers and dual redundant amplifiers are available as well as IF equalisers and L-band equalisers (for slope compensation).

The range also features Automatic Gain Control (AGC) amplifiers and Automatic Level Control (ALC) amplifiers for applications where constant signals into an RF chain are required despite varying received levels.

Customers may also choose smaller units such as 19inch shelves featuring one or two amplifier channels.

Passive Splitter/Combiner

Active Splitter

The range features units covering various frequencies such as L-band, IF, S-band and C-band which are available in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 16 way capacities. All units are supplied with 50 ohm or 75 ohm impedances and various connector types. They also feature integrated regulators to protect against supply rail fluctuations and are powered by external or inline DC bias.

Bias Tee

The ETL 4000 series of Bias TEEs features units that operate over a range of frequencies and are suitable for applications such as telecom infrastructures, satellite systems, microwave links, test and instrumentation, military communications and radar networks.

All units can be mounted by other base or front/ or by rear panels and feature EMC shielded non-hermetic housing. They are supplied with 50 ohm or 75 ohm impedances as well as various connector types.

Alongside our standard range of Bias TEEs, we also provide a bespoke service whereby we can design and create units to suit specific customer requirements.
